Firefly and Kling AI on the layer a viewer actually sees
Both entries leave a viewer with nothing about generation. One leaves nothing because no visible mark is described at all; the other leaves nothing because the mark that exists is about the tool. As of 2026-09-12.

Inclusion rule. Two entries whose published answers to one column pull in different directions. Cells hold each vendor's own wording from the page its entry names; pairs that agree on the column are not filed at all. Order. Fixed order, and the two columns are in the order the heading gives them.
1Two routes to the same silence
An absent notice and a notice about something else leave a viewer in the same position. The distinction matters for reading the record, not for the person watching.
One of these silences was read for specifically, which is why it is filed as a fact. The other is not a silence at all: a sentence exists, and it happens to be about branding.
2Clean output is a professional requirement, not an oversight
A tool aimed at client work has a good reason to leave the picture alone, because clients buy the picture. Putting provenance in the container keeps the deliverable usable and still records that generative work happened.
The other entry reaches a clean picture by a different route: paying removes the signature. The end state of a paid file is the same in both cases, and only one of them wrote anything into the container.
3What a publisher carries away from either
The whole of any disclosure. Neither a manifest nor a vendor signature tells an audience that content was generated, and nothing obliges a platform to surface metadata a viewer never asked for.
This pair is the clearest place in the record to see that a file can be well documented and still say nothing to the person watching it. Those are different duties addressed to different parties.
