ElevenLabs on the models inside its product that it did not build
A platform can host somebody else's model, and the marking then belongs to whoever built it. This sentence says so, which makes the product's coverage narrower than the product's boundary. As of 2026-09-22.

A user picking a voice from a list is not told which company trained it, and the list is one control in one product. Marking, on this page, follows the model rather than the product.
That makes the file's state a consequence of a choice most users make on the basis of how a voice sounds. Nothing in the workflow surfaces the marking implication of that choice.
2Generally and unless stated otherwise are both load-bearing
The sentence hedges twice, and the cell keeps both hedges. A reader who treats the statement as a rule will be wrong wherever the vendor has stated otherwise, and the page does not enumerate where that is.
Hedged wording is more accurate than a clean rule would be, and it is less usable. Recording it faithfully is the only honest option; tidying it would be inventing a rule the vendor declined to state.
3Why this is a scope fact and not a marking fact
The entry's marking row describes the mechanism the vendor uses on its own output. This row describes how much of the product that mechanism reaches, which is a different question with a different answer.
Most registers collapse the two and report a product as marked. A reader whose files came from a hosted third model would be badly served by that, which is why the two rows exist separately here.
