1Indicating that AI was used is a specific, limited claim
A provenance record can say many things: which model ran, at what settings, on what input, with what edits afterwards. The wording here commits to one of them, that generative work was involved, which is the fact a disclosure regime cares about most and the fact a competitor cares about least.
Reading it against the paragraph, that is enough to be detectable as generated, which is the phrase the text uses. Anything further about the composition of the file would be a bonus the sentence does not promise.
2The awkward case is a file that is partly generated
Most finished work in a production is a mixture: generated elements composited with shot material, graded, retimed and cut. A credential attached to an output says something about that output, and a reader cannot tell from the sentence whether it speaks for the whole timeline or for one layer in it.
